He was predeceased by: his parents, Clay Barrett and Betty Barrett (Bowman); his wife Florence Louise Barrett (Turner); his daughter Brenda Florence Barrett; and his siblings, Cliff, Jack, Elmer Barrett, Rosie Elkins, Nannie Bell Hall and Laura Stevens.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joy Sedam (Scott) of Charlestown, IN and Dori Jackson (Mike) of Austin, IN; his granddaughters, Ashleigh Jo Albert Kruer (Gregg) of Charlestown, IN, Misty Burton of Austin, IN and Brittany McDonald (Doug) of Madison, IN; his great grandchildren, Asher Levi Kruer, Greigh Eden Levi Kurer, Abigayle Burton and Hunter McDonald; and his niece Betty Caudill.
