He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Riley and Sadie Sweazy (Sandlin); his wife JoAnn Riley; and his brothers, Junior and Zack Riley.
He is survived by: his children, Julie Branaman of Austin, Betty Wade (Richard) of Scottsburg, Indiana, Randy Riley (Ann) of Commiskey, Indiana, Bobby Joe Riley (Suzie) of Crothersville, Indiana. and John Riley (Mendy) of Crothersville, Indiana.. He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Buchanan Funeral Home (115 N 2nd St, Austin, IN 47102). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials can be made to Alzheimers Association or to Lake Pointe Village in care of Buchanan Funeral Home.
