It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Joe Filburn of Austin, Indiana, born in Louisville, Kentucky, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence E. Filburn and June Ridgeway Filburn; and his brothers, Larry Filburn, Tony Filburn and Bob Filburn.
He is survived by : his children, Adam Filburn (Ana) of Austin and Melissa Spencer of Sellersburg, IN; his stepson Richard C. Hooten of Indiana; his siblings, Johnny Filburn of Leitchfield, KY and Betty Pirrmann of Louisville; his granddaughter Raquel Carlisle; and his great grandchildren, Sawyer and Sophia Carlisle.
