He is survived by: his children, Vickie Bowles, Kathy Edwards (Phil) and Chastity Shelton; his brother Allen Bowles (Brenda); his grandchildren, Jessica Campbell (Nathan), Jonathan Raichel (Mallory), Tinisha Densford (Chance), Jordan Bowles (Brittany), Ashley Shelton (Larissa), Robert Hickman (Megan), Megan Edwards-Baker, Ben Raichel (Taylor), Craig Shelton (Liz), Sarah Thomas (Devin), Rebekah Soloe (Braxton), Austin Bowles and Samuel Bowles; his great grandchildren, Jaeleigh Minton (Caleb), Natalie Campbell, Miley Smith, Eleanor Baker, Julie Smith, Remi Bowles, Winter Baker, Maverick Densford, Emery Raichel, Marceline Hickman, Scarlett Densford, Copper Hickman, Oliver Raichel, Lincoln Raichel, Samson Raichel, Atlas Densford, Josie Thomas and Brooks Raichel; his children, George W. Bowles, Jr. and Tammie Sue Hickman; and his granddaughter Morgan Brooke Edwards.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Buchanan Funeral Home (115 N 2nd St, Austin, IN 47102). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
