He is survived by: his children, Henry Jay Griffie (Vickie) of Trafalgar, Indiana and Teresa Mathis (Doug Rose) of Scottsburg, Indiana; his siblings, Jack "Buddy" Griffie of Hyden, Kentucky, Sinda Sandlin of Hyden, Kentucky. and Phyllis Begley of Hyden, Kentucky.; his grandchildren, Bethany Bowling, Jordan, Kristen Bowling, Keely, Shane Spriggs, Elijah and Kimberly Griffie; and his great grandchildren, Mallory, Makaya and Benny.
