He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul J. Sweany and Alberta Sweany (Wheeler); his siblings, Bobby, Joe Sweany and Nancy Rensehler; the mother of his children Wanda Faye Sweany; and his wife Wanda Rose.
He is survived by: his sons, Tony Sweany of Austin and Terry Sweany (Patty) of Los Angeles, California; his stepchildren, Wesley Rose of Clarksville, Indiana and Holly Colwell of Austin, Indiana.; his granddaughter Amie Sweany; and his great grandchild Adriana Alvarado.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Buchanan Funeral Home (115 N 2nd St, Austin, IN 47102). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
