He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vollie Smith and Vernice Smith (Moore); his wife Kimberly Smith; his children, Chandra Smith of Arizona, Kasey Gunter of Lexington and Richard Aaron Smith of Texas; his sisters, Shirley Thomas Glenna (Robert) and Juanita Watts; his siblings-in-law, Mike Stamper and Sherry Smith; and his grandchildren, Rowan Dallas, Roselynn Jane, Lillian Kay, Matthew G. Scott and Kasen Owen.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Buchanan Funeral Home (115 N 2nd St, Austin, IN 47102). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
