He is survived by: his mother Mary Beth Baldwin Coffman of Jeffersonville; his children, Thomas Paswater (Spencer) of Charlestown and Laurel Miller (Marty) of Oak Hill; his sister Joy Paswater; and his grandchildren, Emerson, Barry Paswater, Nicholas, Alaina, Benjamin and Kelton Miller.

Memorials may be given in Troy's memory to the National Parks Foundation.
