He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Elijah Vires and Loretta (Campbell) Vires; wife: Donna (Smith) Vires; daughters: Elizabeth (Travis) Nally and Brittany (Tyler) Mills; grandchildren: Waylon Mills, Lillian Mills, and Odin Nally; siblings: Elijah Vires, Jr., Victor Vires, and Patricia (Craig) Thompson; parents-in-law: Faye and Don Smith; officiants: Rev. Billy Joe Deaton and Rev. Johnny Bowling; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Safe Harbor Church of God (1762 W Lake Road West, Scottsburg, IN 47170). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
