With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Heiman of Avilla, Indiana, born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Henry Norden and Mela Ella Norden (Sundermann); and her siblings-in-law, Doris Norden and George Hess. She is survived by : her husband David Heiman of Avilla; her children, Steven (Kathy Heiman), Pamela (David Hesters), Sarah (John Wilson, III) and Timothy (Jill Heiman); her grandchildren, Erica Hesters, Nicole Hesters, Ryan Hesters, Jacob Heiman, Andrew Foster (Amy), Norman Foster and Angela Foster; and her siblings, Donald (Glee Norden), Martin Norden of Garrett, Doris Hess of Huntertown, Bonnie (Ronald Buuck) and Janet (Michael Hackman).

Memorial donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church Ladies Aide, Sunday school or youth group.
