She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennie Auld and Hattie Auld; her siblings, Clyde Auld (Pat), Edith Hackett (Merrill), Earl Auld, Vera Fairchild (Bob), Jerry Auld and James Auld; and her brother-in-law Bob Fritz.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Bender; her children, Dianne Lyda, David Bender (Dana), Lori Williams (Kevin), Tina Gill (Scott) and Angela Bergstedt (Jeff); her siblings, Alma Fritz, Gordon Auld (Judy) and Warren Auld (Gloria); and her sister-in-law Jean Auld. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ascension Living Sacred Heart Village Chapel (515 N Main St, Avilla, IN 46710). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
At Doris' request, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Soup Kitchen, Fort Wayne.
