It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judy E. Burkhart of Avilla, Indiana, born in Decatur, Indiana, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her father Ivan E. Garwood; her husband Larry E. Burkhart; and her siblings, Ivan Garwood Jr., Daniel Garwood, William Garwood and Tanya Smith.
She is survived by : her sons, Bradley Burkhart (Cindy) of Fort Wayne and Jeffrey Burkhart (Samantha) of Homer Glen, Illinois; her siblings, Thomas Garwood (Pamela) of Fort Wayne, James Garwood (Donna) of Fort Wayne, Terry Garwood (Janet) of Leo, Timothy Garwood (Tammy) of Springfield, Illinois, Barbara Waidelich (Donald) of Syracuse, Karen Sue Cornell (Archie) of Springfield, Leah Borror (Bill) of Syracuse and Connie Goll (Robert) of Bradenton, Florida; her sisters-in-law, Helen B. Cook of Decatur and Judy Garwood of Indianapolis, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jared, Jordan, Jacob, Madison and Kendall Burkhart; and her great grandchild Carson Burkhart.
Preferred memorials are to Avilla Calvary Methodist Church in Avilla, Indiana.
