She was predeceased by: her parents, Urban Drerup and Helen Drerup (Coffelt); and her husband James E. Mitchell. She is survived by: her children, Carmen Fleck of Rome City, Adam Huffman of Bonita and Brett Huffman (Tamara) of Kendallville; her grandchildren, Ethan Huffman, Lisa Palmer (Bob) and Keri Huffman; her great grandchildren, Noah, Logan, Lily and Addylyn; and her siblings, Rosemary Jones of Auburn, Jean Ann Bishop of Auburn and William Drerup (Barbara) of Avilla.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Young Family Funeral Home (222 S State St, Kendallville, IN 46755). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
