It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Coplin of Avilla, Indiana, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sharon Coplin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Woodward and Wilda "Mary" Woodward (Carrick); her husband Irvin Bruce Coplin, Jr.; and her siblings, Rudy Kleinknight, Grace Smith and Don Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Coplin, Phillip Coplin (Rhonda) and Tammie Jones (Fluke) of Avilla; her grandchildren, Gary Heiman, Russell Coplin, Danin, Marilyn Fluke, Justin Coplin, Andrew Jacie, Laila Coplin, Tristan Jones, Clayton Fluke, Makayla, Eric Slone, Lucas Coplin, Trayce Jones, Wyatt Coplin and Alexis Rogers; her great grandchildren, Liam Fluke, Fennec Heiman, Luca Jones, Atlanta Heiman, Samuel Slone, Peter Slone, Ameila Fluke, Eden Slone and Noah Slone; and her siblings, James "Woody" Woodward, Ron Woodward, Dona Griffin-Himes and Donita Gilbert.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harper Funeral Homes - Avilla Chapel (530 N Main St, Avilla, IN 46710). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
