She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey "Cocky" Holmes and Marion Holmes (Blackburn); her husband Kenneth Ransom; and her great grandchild Ella Grace Simpson. She is survived by: her children, Barry Ransom (Jennifer) of Bloomington and Missy Simpson (Jeff Key) of Avoca; her grandchildren, Lizzie Williams (Griffin), Gabrielle Carrico (Andrew), Noah Ransom, Rieken Isom, Ashle' Stalder (Derrick), Scotty Simpson (Amanda) and Grant Simpson; her great grandchild Ava Ruth Williams; and her siblings, Mike Holmes (Jeanie) of Avoca and Jan Kirk (Jim) of Avoca. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
