She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Pettitt and Marjorie Tevebaugh Pettitt; her husband Earl James Simon; her daughter Betsy Blaudow; her children-in-law, Elizabeth Simon and David Schwab; and her brothers, Richard, Frank, John and David Pettitt.
She is survived by: her children, Earl Simon, Becky Schwab, Danny Simon (Tempe) and Barbara Moser; and her grandchildren, Samantha (Austin), Chris (Heather), Amy (Dan), Nicole, Lindsay (Michael), Kylee, Carollea and Mackenzie. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
