He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ludlow and Hazel Saunders (Dodson). He is survived by: his wife Judy Saunders (Crum); his children, Sherri Saunders, Vicki Massey (Brian), Lee Saunders and Jordan Angle (Bridget); his grandchildren, Tyler Branstetter, Brittany Lines, Nick Massey, Jordan Massey (Taylor), Karlie Eichelberger, Wyatt Saunders and Carson Saunders; his great grandchildren, Blakely and Madden Branstetter; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Crum (Shirley) and Carolyn Gillikin.
