It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derick Timothy Gentry of Avon, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 38, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Allison Weselo; his children, Knox, Nash and Blair Gentry; his parents, Maria Meyer and Timothy Gentry; his stepfather Dwayne Meyer; his sister Marissa McCluskey (Doug); and his in-laws, Richard and Shelley Weselo.
