With sadness, we share the passing of Dorothy J. Brooks of Avon, Indiana. Dorothy, born on November 20, 1933, passed away on July 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Turner and Hazel Turner; her husband Cecil Brooks; her brothers, David Turner and Leon Tuner; her grandchildren, Brenda Smith and Brian Smith; her great grandchild Kory Smith; and her brother Robert Turner.

She is survived by: her children, Jane Yocom (John) of Avon, Indiana, Judy Kikendall (Frank) of Avon, Indiana, Jerry Brooks (Margaret) and Jonathan Brooks; and her sisters, Margaret Fielder, Maxine Turner and Marilyn Turner. She is also survived by grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchildren.
