James Louis Switzer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Louis Switzer of Avon, Indiana, who passed away on July 31, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marietta Switzer (Duke) and Donald J. Switzer. He is survived by: his wife Diana Jo Switzer of Avon; his sons, Gannon Switzer (Shari) of Fishers and Matt Switzer of Scottsdale, Arizona; his brothers, Rick Switzer of Nebraska and Dave Switzer (Sandy) of New Winchester; and his grandchildren, Kylee Buchanan (Will), Abby Switzer and Drew Switzer.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Home (387 E Broadway St, Danville, IN 46122). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Avon American Legion Post 145 (4812 E Main St, Avon, IN 46123). The military honors will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
