With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jeanette Mingus (Avon, Indiana), born in Cason, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jeanette left this world on May 23, 2024 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewel Smithson and Leora Smithson; her son Robert Kevin Mingus; and her siblings, Dorothy Lambert and Harold Smithson.
She is survived by: her husband Robert; her children, Kerrie Smarrella (Tony), Kelly Hoke and Kent Mingus (Charla); and her sister Pat Nix. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jeanette's honor to the Light and Life Free Methodist food pantry or building fund.
