He was predeceased by: his parents, Joyce Sharkey and Clyde Sharkey; his brother Tom Sharkey; and his grandson Noah Tex. He is survived by: his wife Peg Sharkey; his daughters, Dawn Snow (Chris), Laura Walden (Ryan) and Gina Tex of Indianapolis, IN; his stepson Jason Sharkey (Monica) of Lebanon, IN; and his siblings, Patrick Sharkey of Fremont, CA, Michael Sharkey of Batesville, IN and Pamela Sharkey. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Avon United Methodist Church (6850 E US Hwy 36, Avon, IN 46123). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
