He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph Stipe and Thelma Eileen Stipe (Harting). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Arlene Cord; his sons, John J. Stipe (Maria), David L. Stipe (Kelley) and Robert C. Stipe (Beth); and his sister Judith Carroll of Cortez, Colorado. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
