John Ray Wilkerson Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Ray Wilkerson of Avon, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Wilkerson and Lola Mae Wilkerson (Garner). He is survived by: his wife Edwina Wilkerson (Guilliams) of Avon, IN; his children, Sherri Wilkerson and Brent Wilkerson (Robyn); his grandchildren, Cody Wilkerson (Nicole) and Ashley Wilkerson-Cruz (Tiana); his great grandchildren, Ryan, Zachary, Allison, Heather Wilkerson and Edward Allen Bird; and his siblings, Judy Johnson, Janette Cullins and Larry Wilkerson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in John's memory may be made to the St. Jacob Fire Department.
