He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse M. Thatcher and Elizbeth M. Thatcher (Scott). He is survived by: his wife Donna Thatcher (Trent); his son Ritchie L. Thatcher (Danean) of Brownsburg; his granddaughter Ruth Elizabeth Thatcher; and his siblings, Dr. Russell Thatcher (Carolyn) of Floral City, Michael Thatcher (Connie) of Lebanon, John Thatcher (Nora) of Frankfort and Barbara Penrose (Wayne) of Lebanon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Myers Mortuary (1502 N Lebanon St, Lebanon, IN 46052). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
