We are sad to announce that on April 30, 2025, at the age of 85, Maxie D. Barber of Avon, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Eller Barber and Charles Joseph Barber (Joan); and his siblings, Raymond, Russell, Eunice and Buford.

He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Barber of Fort Wayne, David Barber of Mooresville and Matthew Barber of Greencastle. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
