It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley A. Mace of Avon, Indiana, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Mace; her son Ronald Mace; and her parents, Benjamin Taylor and Mahaley Pearl Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Hight (Dwight), William Mace (Michele) and Donald Mace II (Gale); her grandchildren, Mahaley Hardwick, Carley Hardwick, Tony Mace, Tyler Mace, Donald Mace III and Robert Mace; and her siblings, Marvin Taylor and Deborah Leitzman. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Conkle Funeral Home (76 N Avon Ave, Avon, IN 46123). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
