He was predeceased by : his parents, William Elmer and Mary Catherine McGaughey (Oliver); his sister Joan Jean Coyle; and his half-siblings, Anita Maxine Sponsel and Claude Eldon McGaughey.
He is survived by : his wife Judy; his children, Anne Mercedes McGaughey and Chris McGaughey; his granddaughter Christian Nicole; and his sister Kathleen "June" Jones. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
