He is survived by: his sons, Tom Burgess and Lincoln Burgess; his siblings, Tony Burgess and Vickie Challen; his siblings' children, Matthew, Ryan and Jessie; and his former wife Candance "Candy" Chaney Burgess. He is also survived by children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bainbridge Community Building (201 Grant Ave, Bainbridge, IN 46105).
