He was predeceased by : his sons, Daris and Channing Shields; and his grandson Beau. He is survived by : his parents, James Shields and Roberta Shields (Perkinson); his wife Lucy Jean (Woodall); and his children, Tiara Shields (Cameron Smyth) and Travis Shields (Lucy Woodall). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
