He was predeceased by : his parents, Jesse Clifford and Grace Thompson (Dunn); his son Donald "Joe" Thompson; his siblings, Clifford "Gene" Thompson, Ralph Thompson and Lois Gobin; and his grandsons, Joshua Coontz and Travis Perry.
He is survived by : his wife Lorraine Thompson of Bargersville; his daughters, Debra Coontz (Terry) of Atwater, Loretta Perry (Roy) of Martinsville and Angela Thompson of Mooresville; his grandchildren, Jason Coontz of Atwater and Kristen Perry of Mooresville; and his brother Robert Thompson of Kentucky. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
