In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Donald Gene leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Donald Gene may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bedel and Marina Bedel. He is survived by: his wife Judy Bedel of Venice, FL; his daughters, Heather Neal (Joseph) of Aurora, IL and Michelle Catalioti (Carmen) of Venice, FL; his brother Gary Bedel (Barb) of Batesville, IN; and his grandchildren, Garrett and Stella Catalioti. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Holy Family Church (3027 Pearl St, Oldenburg, IN 47036). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Freudenfest Committee in lieu of flowers.
