We bid farewell to Doris A. Baker of Batesville, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 7, 2025 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Meyer and Martha Meyer (Schebler); and her siblings, Howard "Bud" Meyer, Ron Meyer, Ruth Lecher and Mary Blanken.
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Mike Baker (Terri), Mark Baker (Jere), Sherry Baker, Karen Wilgenbusch (Pat), Kenny Baker (Sandy), Rick Baker (Renee), Sheila Hoog (Dave) and Angie Prifogle (Casey); and her siblings, Marge Hunter, Walter "Buck" Meyer, Jean Bomben, Cathy Amrhein, Henry Meyer, Fran Meyer, Joe Meyer and Dave Meyer. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, St. Joseph's Cemetery Fund, or the Dementia Wing at St. Andrew's Health Campus.
