The memory of James Wilbur Meyer of Batesville, Indiana, who passed away on October 9, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Meyer and Mary Ann Meyer; his brothers, John, George and Larry; and his granddaughter Caroline Small.
He is survived by: his wife Constance; his daughters, Dawn Owens (Kevin), Beth Freese (David), Amy Bryan (Daniel) and Melissa Small (Patrick); and his brothers, Dennis and Tom. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Weigel Funeral Home (151 W George St, Batesville, IN 47006). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Louis Church (13 St Louis Pl, Batesville, IN 47006). A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Louis Cemetery.
