It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Janet Mary Gunter of Batesville, Indiana, who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Sturwold and Mary Sturwold; her husband Kendal Gunter; and her brother Earl Sturwold. She is survived by : her children, Marla Nobbe (Matt), Darren Gunter (Anita), Betty Shupe (Clarence), Steve Gunter (Annie Adams), Angie Pierson (Luke) and Rhonda Dickman (Dan); her sisters, Mildred Lamping (Herb) and Velma Knecht; and her sister-in-law Ruby Sturwold. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
