He was predeceased by : his parents, Philomena Ida (Wagner) and Anthony Hoegeman, Sr.; his wife Patricia Hoegeman; and his siblings, Mary Helen Hoegeman-Moorehouse, Albert Hoegeman, Anthony Hoegeman Jr. and Thomas.

He is survived by : his children, Sherry Ripperger (Eric "Elrod") of Peppertown and Chuck Hoegeman (Elizabeth) of Trafalgar, Indiana. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
