It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita H. Zimmerman of Batesville, Indiana, who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Josephine Mollaun and Joseph Mollaun; her husband Harry "Slim" Zimmerman; and her siblings, Norma Mollaun, Robert "Cooch", Julius "Dude", Jerome, Alphonse "Butch", Prosper, Paul, Eugene "Flud" and Albert Mollaun.

She is survived by : her children, Jane Jent (Tom) of Columbus, Indiana and Jack Zimmerman (Stephanie) of Batesville; her sisters, Mary Weigel of Batesville and Joan Moorman of Batesville; her grandchildren, Andrew, Nathan Jent, Mariah Wyatt, Jenna and Reesa Zimmerman; and her great grandchild Oakley Wyatt.

The family requests memorials to St. Louis School or Phi Beta Psi Sorority Cancer research.
