He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Horner and Frances Horner (Hall); his spouse Meredith "Bee" Hunt; and his siblings, John "Jack" C. Horner and Julia H. Mulligan.
He is survived by: his children, Carl C. Horner (Trudi) of West Lafayette, Karen H. Wadsworth of Lanesville and Douglas H. Horner of Brookston; his grandchildren, Lauren Koleff, Robert Horner, Katherine Voyles and Henry Wadsworth; and his great grandchildren, Elloise Koleff, Emery Koleff, Tessa Horner, Micah Horner, Mia Voyles, Knox Voyles, Abigail Wadsworth and Avery Wadsworth. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
