With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Avon Mansel Eisele Jr. of Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on September 15, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Avon Sr. Eisele and Stella Marie Eisele (Dotts); and his siblings, Scott Eisele, Barbara Strunk (Bobbi Jo) and Gary Eisele (Steve).
He is survived by: his children, Easter Eisele of Bedford, Leandra Buechler (Bobby) of Orleans, Deanna Owens of Princeton, Angie Johnson of Griffith, Christine Willis of Smithgrove, KY and Mark Evans (Victoria) of Lyles, TN; his siblings, Max Eisele of Mitchell, Avonelle Lake (Jerry) of Mitchell and Louise Fullen (Stanley) of Fayetteville; and his girlfriend Margaret Ann of Mitchell. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 15 greatgrandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chastain Funeral Home (705 W Warren St, Mitchell, IN 47446). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center (705 W Warren St, Mitchell, IN 47446).
