He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Ray Bliss and Beulah May Bliss; and his brother Glen Bliss. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Bliss; his children, Elizabeth Martindale (Matthew) of Bloomington and Andrew W. Bliss of Xenia, Ohio; his grandchildren, Nicholas Martindale, Lydia Martindale, Alexander Martindale and Atticus Martindale; his aunt Norma; and his uncle Theodore Cotner of New Albany.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes (818 18th St, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
