With solemn reverence, we commemorate Diattra D. Cook of Bedford, Indiana, whose life came to an end on August 12, 2025 at the age of 62, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Turpin; and her sister Denise Turpin. She is survived by: her mother Mary Lou Speer; her husband Mark Cook; her daughter Keisha Hazard (Troy); her stepdaughter Destany Pingle (Jim); her grandson Lucas Pingle; her siblings, Tricia Lewis (Phil), Ed Roach (Pat), Ronald Turpin, Jeff Turpin and Virgil Turpin; and her brother-in-law Joe Cook. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests for contributions to be made to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America to further research, raise awareness of the impact of mental health, and find treatments and hopefully a cure for anxiety, depression, and PTSD. #breakthestigma.
