Doris Jean Coomer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jean Coomer of Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on May 9, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Dyer and Mary Howard (Jerrell); her husband Rev. Ralph Coomer; her grandson Jeffrey Coomer; her sister Ruth Dyer; her son-in-law Kenneth McCartan; and her niece Sabrina Carroll.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Coomer (Susan) of Bedford and Rita Whitehead (Kenny) of Heltonville; her grandchildren, Rusty Coomer (Kristney) of Springville and Kristina Allen (John) of Erie, PA; her great grandchild Noah Coomer of Springville; and her siblings, Paul Howard (Faye) of Peoria, AZ and Linda Cummins.
