It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy R. Spires of Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dorothy R. Spires to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Walton and Gertrude "Fern" Walton (Williams); her husband Claude Donald Spires; and her siblings, Clarence, Fred Walton and Edith Yarberry.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Lazell, Patricia Marion (David), Mike Spires Sr. (Trista), Diane Millstein (Jeff) and David Walton (Sigrid); her grandchildren, Jessica, Cory, Cody, Dagan, Mike Jr., Lindsey, Shelby, Dustin, Hannah, Kendall and Zoe; and her siblings, John Walton, Charlie Walton and Alberta Bader (Bill). She is also survived by 13 Great-Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the White River Humane Society in Bedford.
