He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry E. Ray and Kathryn Lucille Ray (Elmore). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Sue" Ray; his children, Luci McFall (Rickey), Jerry Ray Jr. and Melissa "Missy" Tackett (Greg); his grandchildren, Tiffany German (Rob), Michael McFall (Kalee), Alycen Ray (Jordan), Ashley Miller (Jon), Tyler Guthrie, Carlee Ryan (Jackson), Cassidy Deckard (Evan), Jacob Ray, Owen Tackett and Katelyn Ray (Brayden); his great grandchildren, Waylon, Reagan German, Konner McFall (Savannah), Benji, Paisley, Bentley, Brynlee Thompkins, Nolan Patton, Nash Ray, Alex Miller, Ruby, Curry Ryan, Ava, Mia Deckard and Aspen Wilkerson; his siblings, Bill Ray (Connie), Steve Ray and Anita Todd; and his sister-in-law Trudy Ruch. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
