It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Jenkins of Bedford, Indiana, who passed away on January 13, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Jenkins and Lilly Jenkins (Box); his mother-in-law Ida Mae Fox; his daughter Sherri Fish; his grandson Jeff Coomer; and his son-in-law Ken Speer.
He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Jones of Bedford, Jack Jones (Karen) of Bedford, Susan Coomer (Mike) of Bedford, Cathy Speer of Oolitic, Tammie Tarr (Joe) of Bedford and Nelsa King (Gary) of Huron; his sister Zella Rose of Nevada; and his close friend Connie Tolbert. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
