He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Tumey and Evelyn L. Tumey (Bowman); his brothers, Donald Earl and Miles Eugene; his son Scott Tumey; and his son-in-law Jerry Butler.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Pridemore of Bedford; his daughter Karen Butler of Mitchell; his daughter-in-law Becky Tumey; his grandchildren, Kalee Butler, Kylee Corner (Toby) and Jeremy Tumey (Emily); his great grandchild Asher Tumey; and his stepgrandchildren, Carter and Gracie Solomon.
