He was predeceased by: his parents, Pitser "Pete" Wray and Dorothy Wray; and his brother Gary Wray. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Myers Wray; his children, Jason Wray (Jennifer), Justin Spires (Brooke), Sandy Weldon (Jeff), Kim Jones (Kevin) and Jennifer Grover (Laron); his grandchildren, Shalee Nicholson Miranda (Eric), Kara Jones, Colton Spires (McKenzie), Isabella Grover, Carson Grover, Chloe Spires, Javyn Wray, Pete Wray, Alafair Grover, Conner Spires and Elliott Anderson; and his sisters, Patty Roberts (late Joe), Janie Thompson (Kenny) and Debbie Thompson (Howard).

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne Family Funeral Homes (818 18th St, Bedford, IN 47421). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
