She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Gates; her son Kris Gates (Melody); her grandchildren, Kitch Gates, Keenan Gates (Kenzi), Jacklyn Reynolds (Ethan), Chelsey Tolbert, Zachary Tolbert (Jackie), Candice Blackwood (Adam) and Amanda Gates; and her brother William Covey. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
