She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Rife and Della Rife (Eads); her daughter Melanie Gay Martin; and her siblings, Boyd Rife, Betty Petty, Jack Rife, Carol Cain, Lois Hillenburg, Sonny Rife, Sheila Hogan and Brenda Eads.

She is survived by: her husband Kelsie Martin. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
