She was predeceased by: her parents, James "Ben" Basinger and Agnes Cassidy Basinger; her husband Carl Lucas; her son David Basinger (Sue Wilkerson); her siblings, Wilma Basinger, Anna Lee Basinger, Theresa Pruitt, Dora Cararway, Bernard Patrick Basinger, Jim Basinger and John Basinger; her siblings-in-law, Susie Basinger and Charlie Pruitt; and her niece April Basinger.
She is survived by: her brothers, Louis Basinger (Gerri) of Bedford and Frank Basinger (Janet) of Bedford; her sister-in-law Beverly Kennedy; and her nieces and nephews, Eddie Basinger, Mario Basinger (Susan), Rob Pruitt (Sonja), Janet Turner, Donna Clark (Kenny), Angie Basinger (James) and Grace George (Tyson).
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
